With a vast background in deep drainage and road construction on newbuild housing estates and highway authority works and other commercial projects. PW Groundworks Limited can offer many services in these types of works, from managing and constructing small roads and sewers projects, to supplying skilled labour on larger projects. 

All operatives have a variety of skills and training to cover all areas of this type of works. We are fully insured and health and safety compliant.

Drainage & Manhole Construction

We have a diverse range of skills in drainage, laying pipes in clay / concrete / plastic from any depth from 500mm to 5 meters plus. All drainage is laid with a pipe laser to ensure correct line and levels on each run. We can install precast chambers or build traditional bases constructing channels and benching finishes. All our works are to an adoptable standard to comply with local authorities. 

All types of shoring can be catered for from standard systems such as trench and drag boxes, manhole boxes. To bespoke designs with sheets and braces.

We can install surface water systems including:

Road Construction

We have the capability to carry out all aspects involved in the construction of carriageways from the initial setting out to the finished road construction. Services we can offer include digging to road subbase level, installing road duct crossings, type 1 to formation, kerb laying, forming cambers and final dressing for asphalt laying.

Utilities

We offer a service for the digging of service trenches and installation of ducting; all ducting and trenching works are to industry standards for depth and materials used.

Confined Space Entries

We have experienced and trained operatives to carry out confined space entries, involved with new connections, repairs to existing chambers, surveying and reporting of chamber conditions.
